Just for the link love of it all….great work by Ohio Media Trackers, pointing out that Kasich’s proposal to raise taxes on the Ohio energy exploration industry by 400% is not a good idea.
Kasich has been selling his tax hikes as not that big of a deal. Companies don’t care when you take their profits, right? HA!
Combine that with Ohio’s already horrible tax environment, labor environment and regulatory environment and completely unchecked state and local spending (thanks union pay, benefit and pension plans), and you have a perfect recipe for years of stagnation.
But, Ohio is soaring – haven’t you heard? Kasich has declared it to be true. Who can argue with that?
